Arch View is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that displays the compressed files before downloading them to your computer. Open the file on-line, get a preview, and if you're interested you can download it and be secure of its content.

Most characteristic element of Arch View is that it can open a file without downloading the entire contents. It supports common compression extensions such as ZIP or RAR. It also has support for HTTP and FTP, so you can check both the folders that are hosted on websites and those on a private FTP server.
